We are the American dream. Our founder/father has been in the restaurant business since he first landed in New York over 30 years ago. Since then we have embraced this field and developed this hybrid brand of Afghan- American cuisine. One without the other would be incomplete at our table.
At M.A.S.H we have completely embraced the family experience. Even in our name. M.A.S.H is a representation of us four siblings. Their is a little bit of each one of us in our brand. As we all have our fathers passion and drive for the restaurant and business lifestyle.
- M. Mohammed is 3rd out of the bunch; a Graduate of Howard University, he brings his passion for nutrition and business; and strives to add that special touch in all aspects of the restaurant.
- A. Aliya is the oldest and has seen it all from a young age. She is a Respiratory Therapist by profession but has the restaurant business running through her veins. She has a passion for recipe development as well as customer engagement and restaurant design. Aliya also opened her own branch of M.A.S.H Eatery in Karachi, Pakistan.
- S. Salwa she is the youngest of the four and very ambitious about her future. Already coming up with her own business plans and ready to enter the real world with a bang. She is currently a 6th grader and is passionate about the arts and sciences.
- H. Hedayatulla a.k.a Raheem is the backbone of the restaurant. He runs the restaurant from a new perspective and always strives to bring the restaurant to a higher level. The restaurant business is his life and he is living it to the fullest. He also is the brains behind the Food Trailor at Tanger Outlets in National Harbor, MD and his latest venture M.A.S.H Artisan Pizza a food truck!
M.A.S.H is one mans dream into reality. Rahmutulla is a proud father and leader of the family if it wasn’t for his struggle,vision and drive M.A.S.H wouldn’t be what it is today.
